Description

A light, tangy, and slightly sweet dressing that elevates salads, grilled vegetables, and even marinades. This simple homemade vinaigrette is healthier and fresher than store-bought versions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon honey (or a natural sweetener of choice)

  • 1 small garlic clove, finely minced (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Instructions

  • In a small bowl or jar with a tight lid, whisk (or shake) together the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking until fully combined and emulsified.

  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

 

  • Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Shake well before serving.
