Description

These cheesy garlic chicken wraps are everything you love in one handheld bite  juicy, flavorful chicken smothered in garlic butter, loaded with melty cheese and wrapped in a toasty flatbread or tortilla. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or an on-the-go meal!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken Filling:

  • 500g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into strips

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Juice of ½ lemon

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)

Wrap Assembly:

  • 4 large flour tortillas or flatbreads

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar (optional, for extra flavor)

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 medium tomato, diced

  • Optional: thinly sliced red onion, pickles, or chili flakes for extra zing

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken:
In a bowl, toss the chicken strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through (6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.

  2. Make the Garlic Butter:
In a small pan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and parsley. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Assemble the Wraps:
Lay out the tortillas. Divide the chicken evenly across them. Drizzle with garlic butter, then top with mozzarella, cheddar (if using), lettuce, tomato, and any optional toppings.

  4. Toast the Wraps:
Roll each tortilla tightly into a wrap. Toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  5. Serve:
Slice in half and enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce  garlic mayo, spicy ketchup or ranch!
