This dish brings all the magic of the viral Marry Me flavor into a rich, velvety tortellini dinner. Bursting with creamy sun-dried tomato sauce and savory cheese-filled pasta it’s a comfort food dream come true!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil, drained and chopped)
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a mild kick)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Directions:

  1. Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Make the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Cook Tortellini: Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce. Toss gently to coat each piece evenly in the creamy mixture.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped basil or parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute vegetable broth for chicken broth for a vegetarian version.

Add grilled chicken or mushrooms for extra protein or texture.

Fresh tortellini cooks faster and yields the best results for this dish.
