Description

These juicy chicken burgers are loaded with creamy ranch-style flavor, gooey melted cheese, crispy fried onions and fresh toppings all stacked inside a soft, toasted bun. A halal twist on a viral favorite that’s guaranteed to hit the spot!


Ingredients

Chicken Patties:

  • 1 lb ground chicken (zabiha-certified)

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

  • 1 tbsp dried chives

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (halal-certified)

Assembly:

  • 4 burger buns (lightly toasted)

  • 4 slices halal cheddar or American cheese

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • 1/2 cup crispy fried onions

  • 1/2 cup halal ranch dressing

  • Optional: lemon wedges or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Make the Patties: Combine ground chicken, shredded cheese, chives, onion & garlic powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and mayo. Mix until fully combined.

  • Form & Cook: Divide into 4 equal patties. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side or until cooked through (165°F internal temp).

  • Melt Cheese: In the final minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese over each patty to melt.

  • Toast Buns: Lightly toast buns on a skillet or grill.

  • Assemble Burgers: Spread ranch on buns. Add lettuce, tomato, cheesy patty, crispy onions, and top bun.

 

  • Serve Hot: Garnish if desired and enjoy immediately!

Notes

You can substitute with ground beef or turkey using the same spice blend.

Use homemade crispy onions or store-bought (ensure halal).
