A halal twist on the viral crack burger made with juicy ground chicken, creamy ranch-style seasoning, melted cheese and crispy fried onions. These burgers are loaded with flavor and seriously addictive!
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Patties:
- 1 lb ground chicken (zabiha-certified)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried chives
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (halal-certified)
For Assembly:
- 4 burger buns (toasted)
- 1/2 cup halal ranch dressing (no bacon or wine-based ingredients)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup crispy fried onions (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 slices of halal cheddar or American cheese
Directions:
- Mix the Patties: In a bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheese, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and mayo. Mix well.
- Shape & Cook: Divide mixture into 4 patties. Grill or pan-fry over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side, until fully cooked through.
- Add Cheese: Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast Buns: Lightly toast burger buns until golden.
- Assemble: Spread ranch dressing on both bun halves. Layer with lettuce, tomato, chicken patty, and crispy fried onions.
- Serve: Press the top bun on and serve hot!
