Fresh Garden Tomato Salsa

This vibrant salsa bursts with the flavors of ripe tomatoes, zesty lime, and fresh herbs. Perfect as a dip with tortilla chips, a topping for grilled chicken, or a refreshing side for any meal. It’s crisp, tangy, and full of natural goodness.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, finely diced
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, finely minced (remove seeds for less heat)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ground cumin for a warm, earthy flavor

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, garlic, and cilantro.
  2. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and season with salt (and cumin, if using).
  3. Stir gently until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Cover and let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve immediately with chips or as a topping for tacos, grilled meats, or salads.
