These tender baby potatoes are coated in a rich, velvety garlic cream sauce that’s full of flavor and comfort. Whether served as a side dish or enjoyed on their own, they make the perfect addition to any cozy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g (1 lb) baby potatoes, halved

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese (or any hard cheese you prefer)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Boil the Potatoes:
Place baby potatoes in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender (about 12–15 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Sauce:
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in the heavy cream, then stir in grated cheese, black pepper, and chili flakes if using. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened slightly.

  • Combine and Coat:
Add the cooked potatoes to the skillet. Toss gently to coat each piece in the creamy garlic sauce.
