Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup diced yellow onion”,
1 cup diced red bell pepper
16 oz ground chicken sausage
6 large eggs, beaten
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/4 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Sauté onion and bell pepper in olive oil for 5 minutes.
Add chicken sausage, cook until browned.
Whisk flour, salt, pepper, baking powder, and herbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and mix in cheese and sausage mixture.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. Scoop 12 portions on tray.
Bake for 10-14 minutes until golden.
